$86,750 was distributed to 3,336 children, seniors, adults and disabled singles: $63,870 in food vouchers and $22,880 in local business gift cards. Each family was mailed a food voucher and a gift card in amounts proportionate to their family size, while seniors and disabled singles received food vouchers. Under normal conditions, ACC typically distributes more than 10,000 toys, books and gifts to clients of The Giving Center, Adopt-A-Family and Giving Tree Programs. Our main disappointment for 2020, was that ACC was unable to find a safe way to distribute toys to families with young children without putting volunteers and clients at risk. Monies were also used for first class postage to mail aid to 1,134 families, seniors and disabled singles, plus normal non-profit business operational expenditures (insurance, one part-time salary, phone, storage, postage, PO Box rental, accountants, etc.). Remaining monies will be used to start funding the 2021 program. This was truly a wonderful year of giving… and receiving. Thank you
